Does he ever go away?

Readers of this blog know how much I adore Arthur Chu.

For people who may have (blissfully) forgotten about the guy, Chu was a Jeopardy champ. That's pretty much all he's ever done of any interest. Too bad for the rest of us, but he's now morphed into a social justice warrior who doesn't seem to realize that his fifteen minutes were up maybe a decade ago. (Okay, I'm exaggerating a little.)

This Ars Technica story tells us that PBS - your tax dollars at work - will keep the Chu machine chugging along with some kind of documentary. Hilariously, the doc seems to imply that Arthur is saving us all from the Interwebs becomingly "increasingly vile." Not to mention that he's fighting such all-devouring demons as "toxic masculinity" and "white privilege."

I wish he would fight the urge to hector the rest of us with SJW cliches. You had one brief moment on a game show, Arthur. We really don't need your one-sided lectures on GamerGate and other favorite topics of the thought police.

  1. Deleted a nonsense comment on this post about me hurting, or something. Folks, if you want to get published, at least try to make some sense.
